About ‘Curiosity’
My liquid art pieces are made by lying my canvas horizontally before applying the paint, and once completed take several days to dry. On inspecting this painting 3 days after it was made, I noticed something very peculiar… 2 small paw prints in the paint! I’m no expert in animal prints, but I suspect these prints were made by a squirrel or small cat perhaps, who must have snuck into my painting garage as the piece was drying. Whilst I would usually wright this painting off as ruined, there is something somewhat special about this piece now. I love to think how the intrigue of this small animal has now brought an added dimension of intrigue to this painting. In light of this, I’ve named this piece ‘Curiosity’.
